Please read the following Terms of Service carefully before you agree to Pet Waste Removal services from Scoopology Poop Removal.
Scoopology Poop Removal is an independently owned and operated business (“us,” “we,” or “our”) that provides pet-waste removal services to residences, businesses, and commercial properties; you agree to the following terms of service (“Terms”) that govern the sales and services provided by us (“Services”). By accepting the services, you hire us for, you are bound to these Terms.
The customer understands our ability to provide Pet Waste Removal Services can depend on the weather, condition of grass height, access to your yard, which is your responsibility, and other unknown outside influences.
Scoopology Poop Removal offers residential and commercial pet waste removal services. These services include One Time Clean, Weekly Cleaning, Twice a Week, Every Other Week Cleaning, and Seasonal Cleaning. All pricing is based on an area size of 1/2 of an acre. Larger areas will have an additional charge.
One-Time Clean
One-time cleans are completed as soon as possible after a quote is approved. Depending on where you are located and how close you are to an existing route will depend on which day we complete your cleaning. Unlike most companies, it is not necessary to pre-pay for a one-time clean; however, we will invoice after the clean and expect payment as soon as possible after your invoice has been received.
Weekly Cleaning
Weekly cleans are our most popular service. If your yard has not been cleaned for more than a week, you will be charged a first-time clean fee and a weekly maintenance fee thereafter. You will be assigned a set day of the week for your weekly cleans. On occasion, as we add new customers, your day of the week may be changed to create more efficient route schedules for our pet waste technicians (i.e., scoopologists).
Twice a Week
Twice a week services will be limited to areas where our routes take us into an area more than once a week. In areas where we only service once a week, twice-a-week services are not an option. For dog owners with four or more dogs, twice-a-week services are recommended as these jobs take us longer to scoop on a weekly basis.
Every Other Week (bi-weekly service)
Bi-weekly service is available for dog owners with one or two dogs. We cannot provide bi-weekly service for 3 or more dogs as these jobs take too long and are difficult to work into our routing schedule. In some areas, due to routing issues, bi-weekly services may not be available.
Seasonal Cleanings
Customers may request quarterly services (fall, winter, spring, summer). These once-a-quarter services will be billed at our One-Time Clean rates.
The Customer understands that if Scoopology Poop Removal can’t access the area needing cleaning due to locked/blocked/frozen gates or aggressive dogs in the yard; the scoop will be skipped and charges will still apply. Scoopology Poop Removal suggests adding gate combinations or lock keys to your file to avoid locked gates. If the customer requests we come back, a $5 driving fee will be added to the customer’s bill. Please contact us before we run into any accessibility issues to avoid additional charges.
Scoopology Poop Removal will work through the rain and cold if we can safely do so. The customer understands we cannot work through severe thunderstorms, flooding, or an accumulation of snow or unsafe driving conditions. Scoopology Poop Removal is a MONTHLY subscription service. We do not offer refunds for missed weeks due to the weather. Therefore, in cases where it is unsafe due to inclement weather, we will skip service for that week, and see you the following week. A refund will not be issued as we still have to pick up all of the poop that would have been scooped the prior week. If you need the area cleaned before your next scheduled service, please call us and we will do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee it. Additionally, we do not want to tear up your yard in any way. If it is really muddy, we may skip your yard and wait until the next scheduled visit when things have dried out.
Scoopology Poop Removal does not typically provide services on the following holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day; and New Year’s Day. Our holiday schedule is determined on a case-by-case basis. If we have staff willing to work on a holiday, your yard may be serviced but we cannot guarantee services on the holidays. If your pick-up day falls on one of the holidays mentioned, we will skip service that week and scoop the following week. There are no refunds for a missed pick-up on a holiday. We still have to do the work and pick up all of the poop from the week prior. If a customer absolutely needs service on/before a holiday due to a party or special outside occasion, we will do our best to service your yard with advanced notice.
Scoopology Poop Removal bills monthly for services rendered. Unlike most pet waste removal companies, Scoopology only charges after services have been provided. Your account may be charged on the last day of each month through the 6th of each month. Invoicing may vary during the first week of the month due to additional customers being added to our billing cycle. If you prefer a certain day to be billed each month, please make arrangements by calling 360-612-7667,
If your card is declined, we will try again a day or two later. If the issue persists, we may discontinue service until the issue has been resolved. If more than 30 days have passed since your last clean-up, a first-time clean-up fee will be applied. We will only pause service for periods of 30 days. If service does not resume after the 30-day period, you will be removed from the schedule.
One-Time Cleanings will be billed after the service has been completed. Payment is due within 24 hours. If payment becomes more than 30 days late Scoopology Poop Removal will turn your account over to collections.
Late Fee
A $5 late fee may be applied to all invoices past due by 14 days. Please make arrangements with us at 360-612-7667 to avoid late fees. Customers who do not pay their past month’s invoice before the next billing cycle may be removed from the schedule until payment is made.
Electronic Payment Surcharge (CC Surcharge)
A .72 cent surcharge will be added to each weekly service to cover the fee charged by credit card companies. During a four-week billing cycle this fee will total $2.88. Five-week billing cycles will total $3.60. One-time clean customers will be charged $3.00. Twice a week customers will be charged .36 cents and bi-weekly customers will be charged $1.44 per visit. Surcharge fees are necessary as the convenience of electronic payments is not free. To keep our prices reasonable, Scoopology cannot afford to absorb this cost without passing some of the cost onto our customers.
To keep our prices reasonable, we will dispose of bagged pet waste in your trash bin. Disposing of pet waste is very costly and not practical for us in most cases. Customers who wish for their dog waste to be disposed by Scoopology will be charged $3 a visit. However, in most cases this is not an option. If you would like your dog waste disposed somewhere other than your trash bin, please contact us. If your trash bin is not available, Scoopology may leave bagged waste in a designated area for you to place in your trash bin.
We will always do our best to clean your yard the best that we can. We understand that maintaining your yard is a lot of work and it may not always be in the best shape. The customer understands that it can be very difficult to find dog poop in tall grass or in a yard full of leaves or other debris. If your grass is tall when we come, there may be some dog waste that is missed. On our next scheduled visit, we will scoop anything that was missed during our previous visit if your yard is free from debris and the grass is cut short enough. Rocky areas and mud also make it difficult to guarantee every poop with be scooped without some residue left behind. Loose stool is also difficult to pick up. We cannot guarantee there will be no sign of dog waste left behind when scooping loose stool. If you find an excessive amount that we missed, please let us know as soon as possible at 360-612-7667.
The following are items we charge extra for:
- Cleaning/sanitizing dog waste from decks/patios/sidewalks ($5/visit)
- Come Back request ($5/time)
- Front Yards starting at ($10 per visit)
- Waiting- If you make us wait to perform your cleaning ($5/visit)
- Late Payment ($5)
- Pet Waste Disposal Fee ($3 per visit)
- CC Surcharge: $.72 (weekly service), $3.00 (one-time clean), $.36 (twice-weekly service), $1.44 (bi-weekly service). All weekly, twice-weekly, and bi-weekly surcharge fees will be applied each visit. During a typical 4-week billing cycle, customers will be charged a total of $2.88 monthly for electronic payments.
We may collect personal information from you on our Sites or through any other digital or personal communication with you. Information collected by us is voluntarily provided by you and may include your name, email address, phone number, and physical address. Our Sites may collect general information about the service you are requesting, such as the type of property and area needing assistance, the type and number of pets you have, and general information about your pet’s behavior. We collect information about you to provide you with our services. We use personal information about our users for various purposes related to our business; your data is for Scoopology Poop Removal use only. We will never sell your information or send it to third parties. We may provide user information to third-party service providers or vendors for purposes of, including without limitation, processing your payments or sending information to you, data tracking, maintenance, or development of our System. We may also share your personal data connected with law enforcement requests or responses to investigations, subpoenas, court orders, or other legal processes to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims or as otherwise required by law. If at any time you feel your personal information was shared by Scoopology Pet Waste Removal without your consent, please contact us immediately.
Scoopology Poop Removal provides the above services to you subject to the Terms, which may be amended from time to time without notice to you. Amendments will be effective upon our posting of such updated Terms to our website. We recommend you visit our Terms of Service to review any changes in our practices. Your continued use of our Services shall constitute acceptance of any changes to the Terms. Some of the provisions contained in these terms of use may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our site or via email communication.
